Who handles your information

What we collect and why
When you enquire, we collect your name, email, telephone, property postcode, service requirements and any photographs or company information you choose to provide. We use these details to discuss your requirements, prepare quotations and manage the enquiry. This supports steps at your request before entering a contract and our legitimate interest in handling business enquiries.
Photographs and sensitive information
Send only photographs relevant to the work. Avoid people, personal documents and unnecessary sensitive information. Photographs are stored privately and are available only to the authorised owner. Enquiry photographs are not published in our portfolio.
Service providers
The website uses Cloudflare-backed hosting, database and file storage through Sites. Email notifications use Resend when configured. Postcode checks send the postcode you enter to Postcodes.io; they do not send your name or contact details. These providers process information needed to deliver their services. Appropriate provider terms and transfer arrangements must be maintained for the live business service.
Measurement and spam prevention
With your permission, we record telephone link interactions, selected services, the landing page and campaign parameters to understand website performance. A telephone click does not mean a call connected. Without optional measurement, enquiry records contain only the current landing path and no campaign identifiers. To protect forms, we temporarily store a salted hash of the connection address and request counts, not the raw address.
Retention
Our intended retention period for enquiries that do not lead to work is 12 months after the last meaningful contact. The owner reviews and deletes these records and their photographs through the dashboard. Contract and financial records may require a different retention period. Optional measurement records are reviewed for deletion after 12 months. This application does not automatically delete business records.
Your rights and requests
You can request access, correction or deletion, object to certain uses, or ask about restriction or portability where applicable. Contact us using the details above. You may also raise a concern with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Publication
Project photographs and customer reviews are published only after the owner confirms permission. We do not publish the personal information or photographs submitted with enquiries.
